So, I'm back! I'm not sick anymore! YAY!
Today I'm will talk with the biology teacher (again!) about the really nice project that they have here. They use the water of this huge aquarium (250 litters) to put in the plants - they have a garden- and the same water is filtered and come back to the aquarium. It's really nice. Maybe we can do something similar - later I will post some pictures.
I've some good news! We gonna make video of the battles in the civil war! This will be really fun. It's a work for the History class. As soon as the video got ready we'll post it.
Now it's time for lunch.
See you later! Ray.

A party in the USA!
Ok, while everybody went to ice skating, I was on the basketball practice that was really nice. Unfortunately the season ended today. What really means no more basketball with the girls… BUT Jim (my host father) will play basketball on Tuesday and I’ll see him! YAY! Yesterday I went to the Dollar Mountain to see a snowboard competition – that day was almost hot, in the morning was 5 Celsius degrees – and met some friends of my host parents. Susan and Greg are from Seattle. They are really nice people. In that night we (me, Meredith and Melina) did the DATE NIGTH! Sophia was fever, so she stayed at home to rest, and we went to the movies and we saw a film of country music that was pretty nice. After we went to Meredith house - I slept there - and watched Star Wars III, such a beautiful movie! That was really fun!So, today the Brazilians cooked for the Americans and the Americans cooked for us. We cooked for almost four hours and they did everything in fifteen minutes! ( but they bought the food done!) We played Beatles rock band in the Wii and watched the Super Bowl together. We had a great weekend!PS :I’m doing my PPT presentation tomorrow – and we gonna make a surprise too- So wish me luck!
See you, Ray. ( Ray it’s better because they can’t really say Raisa here)

Physics and Potatoes
Now, in the physics class we are calculating the force we must apply in a bag of Idaho giants potatoes to put then in orbits. Fun!
It's time for SAMBA!
Today me(Raisa) and Weell were invited, by the teacher Pillar, to show for the students what is the Carnaval. So, now we are making a good presentation for them, which includes a samba class - hahaha- and we gonna show it for them tomorrow!
I hope we do it right : D
See you guys, Ray

Hey guys :)
So, It's my first time here. Sorry about that, but I just couldn't do this before. The things were a bit different for me, because I got really bad when I arrived. Maybe it was the weather or the jet lag, but now I'm okay. Well (this it is not a good word to say near Weell ), we are really different. The way we eat, our furniture, our routines, our life. Everything it's different, what really means that we have a lot to learn.
Yesterday we visited the city and than I went to a Mexican restaurant with my host family. I ate rice and beans, but it wasn't that similar to the brazilian food. Oh, Sophia's dad - Jim - he got three or four LP ( long players - we say this in Brazil, I'm not sure how they call this thing here ) of The Beatles, YEAH. I coundn't belive it. This is sooooooooo cooooooool :) I'm very happy to be here, although it's pretty cold (-18C). Kisses and hugs, Ray.
